After the success of Hollywood’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Harry Potter series, Ketan Mehta`s The Rising will be the first Indian film to hit the screens in the form of a trilogy. The film starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Amisha Patel revolves around the life of freedom fighter Mangal Pandey, set against the backdrop of the 1857 mutiny.
